Temporary-to-hire situations provide a bridge to full time employment, by allowing employers to try a candidate for a few days or a few months, until they are confident that the candidate is a correct fit for both the position and the company.  The typical period of employment is 60-90 days before the successful candidate is hired by a company permenantly.  While the candidate is on VeteranTemps payroll, the company will not pay:

  • FICA
  • Unemployment Insurance
  • Workers Compensation Insurance
  • State taxes
  • Federal taxes
  • Employee benefits such as health, dental etc.

• Maintains staffing flexibility:With the popularity and staying power of flexible work arrangements, employers need to stay current with the needs of today’s work force.  Temporary work is just one of the ways that businesses can offer flexibility and at the same time better meet their own needs.

• When you can't permanently fill a position until the budget allows for a headcount addition, a temp-to-hire option can be the best.

 • Work Opportunity Tax Credit: All employers using the “Temp to Hire” program are eligible for the Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC) once they hire an eligible participant on a permanent basis. This tax credit can be more than $2,000 in the first year!

Permenant Placement is used to meet the executive or specialized-technical needs for business.  Perm-placement recruiting completed by utilizing specialized search and recruitment methods.  An agreed to search fee or contingency search agreement is used for each search and successful placement.
